I think first you have to find out where exactly you would want to settle, i.e. nicosia, larnaca, paphos. Where are you staying in May. with relatives.

Dione

If you are planning to work, then you first need to decide the location you want to live in. Some areas are better for working - and some are more designated as tourist areas. Once you have made the decision - then you can start to investigate regarding schooling.

That question is no less difficult to answer as someone asking "where in England should I move to?".

Sorry...

Nicosia and Limassol are the best for work and schools. But Nicosia doesn't have a sea. So Limassol is best.

But Nicosia has lots of other things that might make his life ore easy...like embassies, government offices...etc...But agree Limassol is a good choice...anyway distance from one city to the other is just 45-60 min

dione,

It sounds as if you need to do an awful lot of research before you consider moving. First question - why Cyprus ?.

Before I made my plans I drew up a list of possible countries, then a list of criteria e.g. (but by no means exhaustive) political stability, climate, cost of living, medical facilities, language, taxation, ease of access, culture, leisure facilities et al. Then gave each location scores based on these. Nowhere is perfect. but for ME Cyprus scored highest. Everyone's case is individual.

Why have you decided onCyprus ?.
