How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

After reading this insulting statement, I didn't even bother to read the rest of the article. I just noticed the author lying at the end, when he said that ECHR petitions only award damages against Turkey, and not return of property. The requirement for Turkey to return the Loizidou property was simply postponed until 2005.

The judgement has already been passed. 2005 is when Turkey is expected to enforce the judgement.

Brother,

I think the attached link will clarify the issue ... right from the horse's mouth!

Given Rauf's emotional attachment to the donkey, immortalised in his statement that donkeys are the only true Cypriots (I'm sure the moufflons were a bit miffed), surely the expression ...from the donkey's mouth would be more apt :P

The Turkish Foreign Ministry said the decision to pay up did not set a precedent for the future. In a statement, the Ministry said the decision was unjust but the payment was necessary to protect respect for the Human Rights Court.

I think, the entire statement is an insult to donkeys!!!
