TURKEY ELECTIONS

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby pitsilos » Sun Mar 25, 2007 4:17 pm

it could mean a million things zan, but one thing is for sure turkey ain't got no blood to give. and thats the problem.

i agree the roc entry is like their safety belt, the eu will sacrifice half the island today to safeguard what the see as a future eu, but make no mistake, tomorrow turkey will give it back at some day in the future as it did before with the uk.

Again I think you are right but not until we, the TCs are in good hands and can fend for ourselves.

i don't think the choice will be up to us to make zan, coz if it was we wouldn't have a cyprus problem today.

Can I ask why you think so Karma. A Christian Greece or all the other Christian countries were not bad for Europe so why Islam. Do you think that Islam is that bad? Don't get me wrong, I have not got a religious bone in my body but am alarmed at that attitude. Unless of course you were being sarcastic then I apologise.

My mistake Karma I see now

Despite I belive only in karma, I m not against any religion including Islam..but I cant imagine an Islamic Turkey..it is worse than a nightmare :(

It is already Islamic Karma, all beit secular. As long as it does not go to extremes then so what. The same can be said of any country , can it not. Look at Bushes extreme Christian views. What would happen if the church got out of hand there.

Nope it is not already Islamic, still secular, but I m afraid it will become 1...U shldnt compare Christian Views with Islam Views, since Islam is living its Middle Ages ((remember Islam was after 700 years, so it is like living in 1300 ies Christianism)..
We dont need another Iran in the region I guess
