Talat was not allowed make a single move towards a solution so far. We saw what happened last weak with the Technical committees. Pertev goes to Ankara and Talat forced to announce they will trash the process.
Talat keeps on repeating he wants to discuss with Papadopoulos directly. In my opinion he thinks that if both him and Papadopoulos agree, there is no way for Turkey to say no, otherwise Talat would resign and let the people know all about it.
Talat however does not realize that he will be asked to report to Ankara and the Generals on each and every move he makes. He thinks he will reach a quick solution and nobody would have time to examine him. ...
You are right Pyro gardas...
Talat can never agree to a solution without the approval of the government in Ankara, and the government in Ankara cannot approve anything not approved by the Turkish Military. End of story. The rest is politics. The TCs have been sacrificed to satisfy the ego of the Turkish military, and the EU interests of Turkey...The TC culture and identity will live in you,our GC compatriots forever,Pyro...That is my only consolation...
