Did anyone see this on the TV news last night (23 March)?
I caught a glimpse of a report on Sigma. Some squaddies
hailed a cab after going on the piss in the Germasogeia area.
They hit the driver following some disagreement over the fare.
I think the incident happened on Thursday night.
(Don't expect the Cyprus Mail to come up with a story on this.)

The moral of this story is...........when someones out on the piss............if your a taxi driver don't try and take the PISS !!!!!!

Sorry but thats just wrong no matter how you look at it. Even if it was a bit on the pricey side you have to expect things like that when you're on holiday or living in a place like Cyprus.

If he really was taking the piss then they should of at least just refused to pay him so much and walked off. Not beat him up. :roll:

They arrested them today. The soldiers were on leave from either Iraq or Afghanistan. I guess they get away with that sort of behaviour there and it slipped their minds that they had returned to civilisation.

he prob opened his mouth about how wrong is been to invade iraq and blah blah blah... and those blokes prob seen enuf already, so they got pissed off. IF thats the case, i still do support them.

He PROBABLY insult them? He PROBABLY said something bad about their mothers or families? He PROBABLY is a gay and offer them to pay with their bodies? (no offend with gay people) ... just want to give an example how crazy things we PROBABLY think to support our opinion without knowing the facts! And raymanuva...why you dont tell us what else they might do to him if they was more angry??? Its good to hear few other ideas!!!! :evil:
