when your goods arrive, they will ask to see your company registration, certificate of incorporation , and vat registration number.
you cant apply to register for vat , until you have certificate of incorporation, so that will be even longer..

yes , it will take about 10 weeks from application to get this..

ukman is right . Very hard to do business in Cyprus specially if you are not cypriot. Cypriot people dont like the secondhand goods first and second not much spending out here . Also you can not manage to beat the big fishes. If you want to do business in cyprus i have great ideas for it and contact me with pm.
I had friend who have warehouse in birmingham and dealing in uk excustoms and exctalouge staff and he end up loosing 50k in NORTH CYPRUS.

Darren, i worked for myself in wholesale/retail in Scotland, UK for around 25yrs, its the old case of, who you know and not what you know, and it takes a long to find out,and when and if your ever honoured with that privalige you keep it to yourself............if your not Cypriot, all doors normaly close on you and if you bang hard enough and show big bucks, you'll recieve a little, but never alot or enough, personaly in business here you have to do things that everybody else is doing but cheaper or something unique to you that can't be easily copied, cause this is common practice out here, anyway enough said, good luck if you do decide to give it ago !!!!!!!
