There is far too much evidence against the possibility that there is a God and the various religions have created far too many problems and been far too greedy to believe in them.

Too many atrocities in the world to believe that a 'God' could ever be ok about it - that he is just testing faith.

I wish I did, it would be nice to have something to turn to or believe there is life after death or you would go up to heaven (or to Hell!).

Being a good person, looking out for others and trying to do some good is far more what 'religion should be about. A person who does a lot for charity but is atheist and who doesn't go to church is a better person than churchgoers who do nothing.

I'm from Pilsen, but I lived in small village in Pilsen district, then ilived n Prague. My girlfriend is from Karvina (North Moravia) and I have many friends from whole CR thanks to my studies, so I'm very surprised that most of poeple you met are catholics.

I know only few people who are catholics, but mostly only on the paper, due to their familly customs.

I am a Christian.............Christianity is not about being a 'good' person, its about having a relationship with the risen Lord Jesus, no one is good enough, we all do wrong things. God sent his son, Jesus, to die in our place, when he died on the cross he took all our sin on himself, so if we come to him and accept what he did for us and ask forgiveness and turn from our sin we become a Christian. I know he is alwyas with me.

Hey free-cyprus - God didn't forget to put Cyprus on the map............its mentioned in the Bible, which is more than England is!! It's in Acts 13........Cyprus must be quite a special place..............there aren't many countries that are still called by the same name that they were in Bible times.....obviously Israel is and also Egypt.

This has to be a joke! Not about being a good person?

Have you actually taken the time analyse the improbability of the whole set up story about Jesus and the actual facts? Great for getting money out of people by making them feel guilty so they feel better by parting with their cash.

I'll thrash myself with birch twigs later and hate myself for not being good enough!

Bo**ocks to that!
