You are right in some aspects of me hating. I have never really been capable of such harsh feelings before, especially to my cousin GCs. What I hate now is the way some of you make me feel about these same GCs. I hate the way I now have to avoid talking to my one and only real GC friend that I have because I cannot tell him about some of the people I have encountered on these forums. I hate the fact that I walked into a flat today with Cyprus memorabilia all over the walls and I feared talking to this woman as a Cypriot because I no longer feel confident that she will not kick me out of her flat just for being a Turkish Cypriot. (I don't look particularly Cypriot like although as I am getting older it is becoming more obvious for some reason). I fear you when I tell you time and time again that I do not hate GCs but the GCs in charge that are showing so much animosity against my people. I hate it when you guys inadvertently lie to make your point. You attach your selves to certain points that does nothing to address the situation that exists today and has done for decades. I hate the fact that you choose Turkey as the scapegoat for your sins and why we cannot just turn back the clock and let people walk back into homes as if nothing has happened. I hate the fact that you call yourselves Cypriots but fail to realise that your Greek Cypriotism does not cover my Turkish Cypriotism. I hate the fact that greed is the only thing hat drives people to constantly class themselves as refugees when that status has long been diluted. Zan , you must admit I have never expressed anything but love and compassion for my Cypriot brothers the Turkish Cypriots. I swear on my mothers grave there is not in me one minute trace of hatred , its because I know so many T/Cs and have grown up in their company and fully understand their concerns , fears and insecurities and as a Cypriot through and through I get extremely annoyed when opinions are expressed purely to cement the existing partition of our island and the "Turkification " of people that I have so much in common with. Why don't you understand that your extreme views normally draw people, both GC and TCs to "attack" you? Just step back for a bit and think whether italians will sit back and not confront say a scicillian who wants to partition italy.

Sorry to say this Vp but you are not a person that anybody can convince or even make you rethink what you are asking for. Be sure that the people that you choose to attack labelling them more or less TC haters are people that surely behave differently to the average TC person.

For me you are my political "enemy" Vp not because of your identity but because of your views regarding partition. You are my "enemy" in the same way GC people that express extremist views about enosis are.
It is views similar to the ones that you represent that brought our country to this point - TMT and EOKA B' expressed similarly extreme views.

So allow me to use some of your own words - cypriots have learnt from the past...so they won't keep silent and are prepared fight against extremist views like yours from whichever side these are expressed.

I'm convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt and I stand by my statements earlier that you are in direct employment of a propaganda department whose sole purpose is to discredit any efforts for the reunification of Cyprus , you have posted 4500 posts , and yet not a single word of reconciliation , I attack what I consider to be your destructive and damming views not only effecting today's Cypriots but generations upon generations to come who will be brainwashed and be made ready for more and more conflict. I attack your views because they not those of a Cypriot born in the UK , who returns to Cyprus and spends hours in front of the screen churning our more and more hateful posts towards anyone who happens to be a Cypriot and not a sold out to Turkey T/C as you are .
