Interesting connection,Karma...

But I think Mr Ilhan is here to try to put a lid on the discussions about who killed his family all those years ago...

tassos markou was a member of the cypriot army.
after the coup was staged against makarios , and despite the fact that the army was fully corrupted by junta members, he was planning a counter-coup, in order to bring makarios back.

in the meantime the turkish invasion happened, and tasos markou was one of the very few who ignored the orders for retreat. he stayed with his men and fought till the end (unlike other well known patriots) .
. he is still missing

it is the first time that his name has been connected with cold-blooded murders. this is why levent challanges us today to speak about the "bath-murder". if tasos markou was a pure hero as we portray him, then we should provide the evidence to clean his name... problem is, if tasos markou was innocent, someone else should assume responsibility... question is ...who ?

its more propaganda machine working opening old wounds to flare up people ................. heres a simple question for the whole forum .......................50 years ago turkish speaking and greek speaking cypriots both spoke two languages fluently and communicated with each other fluently and in some cases they used this to their own advantage to commit crimes against cypriot people but many cypriots do not even question this ..................

Because nobody had questioned the identity of the murderers until recently, and never so persistently as in the past week or so in AFRIKA newspaper...The irony is that Mr Ilhan has no idea who did the murders,he was not there.According to his own statements he didn't learn of the murders till 4 days later...

It smells to high heaven,karma.
The GC side is ignoring the whole issue,as far as I can tell, and the TC side is hell bent on trying to supress the discussion...

I understnd Mr Inhan was a Turkish Military doctor serving in the Turkish detachment according to the treaty of guarantee? The big question is why kill the family of a doctor? Why not someone else, e.g a General.
And why innocent people?
Another question that comes to my mind:
There were too many "guests" in that house that night. Well that's very strange. The family man been away on duty, who were all these people in the house???

Whoever did that killing it was a disgrace to humanity any way.
