Cyprus is an island of DIVERSITY...

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Cyprus is an island of DIVERSITY...

Postby Get Real! » Mon Mar 19, 2007 2:53 pm

Cyprus needs to move away from "ethnic backgrounds", which encourage “community” or “enclave” attitudes and embrace DIVERSITY, and any reference to “community” should be utterly abolished.

A Cypriot of DIVERSITY would have cultural, racial, religious, sexual, and any other diversities, but still remain a full member of the single family of Cypriots thereby eliminating the need to create any further sub-groups that can only lead to racism and divisions.

This is extremely important for the future of Cyprus as a new-age DEMOCRACY and the IDENTITY of the Cypriot will also benefit from such an adaptation.

Every single Cypriot citizen, regardless of ethnic background, should swear allegiance to and serve the Cypriot National Guard because without common OBLIGATIONS we cannot have equal RIGHTS.

Let us forge the diverse Cypriot of tomorrow under one flag, one country, and one mission!

Every country needs some form of protection FC. Who's gonna guarantee little Cyprus if we don't do it? Remember what happened the last time we left it up to others?
