Has anyone seen what is on the London Buses these days

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby MR-from-NG » Mon Mar 19, 2007 10:34 pm

This is just a guess. I think Kikapu has a problem with the TRNC and the Turkish military because he has not done his national service. He wants the military out and wants a quick solution so that he does not have to give up his luxuries and do 2 years NS or pay $ to get out of it.

I could be wrong but cant think of anything else that could make him so bitter towards his own.

 It could be actually because I remember Kikapu saying he was visiting Cyprus but not the North part. I'm in the same situation though, I've only been once in the last few years :(
I'm going in a few months, paying something like £750 and doing a month in the army. :D Need to just get it over and done with!

Zan , are you not missing the entire point here about Kikapu and Bir , the fact that these two individuals do not wish to give their country up any more than I do , where do you see hatred Zan , is it the fact that neither of those two , just as I do , do not have any hatred for their fellow Cypriots . We have a chance you say to break out of a stranglehold , the self imposed one by Turkey no doubt . Can you not see that the overwhelming majority of Cypriots will never in a million years give up their country , just as Kikapu and Bir feel. How do you think the future generations of Cypriots feel when part of their country is annexed by Turkey , do you want to see more and more conflicts erupting , because they will have no doubt about that , Bir , Kikapu , Humanist my self and many more do see beyond our noses and do fear that conflict will erupt again and again and no power on earth will be able to put and end to it unless we , yourself included and all other Cypriots join forces and avert such possible conflicts. The way is not to move further apart but to move closer and demand your rights to the whole of Cyprus as equal citizens with your fellow Cypriots. As you can see there are many many Cypriots that share my views that you not so long ago , along with VPs dismissed as an old man's dream.
Long live our Cyprus lets preserve it for all of our future generations to come as an independent nation .

I have not missed that Miltiades; I know where they are coming from. What I am questioning is their methods. The RoC is not good for us TCs and that is that. We have a choice and we choose Turkey because we feel they better serve us than the broken and disrespectful RoC lead by an EOKA man.

Can I ask you as a businessman, what do you do when a customer brings back a faulty item to your shop?

Oh Zan, please spear me all the details. I've asked you a question about the Kurds and the other Cypriots, and all you want to say is, I hate the Turkish Cypriots. I think outside the box, unlike most of you, who are stuck in one. When nothing else works, always use the "hate card".

The only nerve you hit, happens to be yours.

What is it you want me to say about the Turks. Thank you for coming to intervene in 74', and while you're here, stay around for a while, oh 50 years sounds about right, and in the meantime, we can't get life back to normal in Cyprus, because Turkey is calling all the shots, on behalf of the TC's. Why don't you guys be more proactive towards peace, as you're about partition, and wanting everything to be divided. One of you said today, that "we are Turkish and not Cypriots". Talk about betraying your own motherland, and attaching yourself to Turkey, because that's what it means, when one says they are Turkish, when you leave the Cypriot part out.

Kikapu

I would rather not spear you at all.

I see all those that live in Turkey as Turks just as I see my self as a Brit and I presume you see yourself as a Yank but why are you talking to me as if I am from Turkey alone. I am a Turkish Cypriot and whatever box you seem top think you are thinking out of (and I believe you are out of your box) perhaps an answer from you without further questions would be nice.

As far as the Turks coming to Cyprus and warrant a thank you from you, how about thank you for saving my peoples lives. Yes they have done many wrongs as well but so have the Greeks so what is so terrible that makes you hate one more than the other. I have always approached this as being what it is and that history dictates we move on with equal respect. You seem content with giving away all our rights to a people that have shown us very little love from a political sense. The days of planting olive trees and harvesting figs are over. We are in the 21st century and our needs and abilities have changed.

The Turks got a thanks from me in the first few days of intervening in 74', but over stayed their welcome since, for the past 33 years.

You want an answer from me........what the hell is the question Zan.

That's just it Zan, I do not hate anyone, and of all the " claimed war victims" from the TC's on this forum, I faced the initial days and months of 1963, "close and personal", so I don't need anyone telling me that I hate one side more than the other, and in your belief, it is the TC's. Can your "twisted brain" get more wrings in it, because all you want to do is attack, without even knowing what the hell you're talking about.

No one said we should play dead to anyone or to the GC's, politically or otherwise, but it appears, that the scare mongering is what you guys are good at. I wish you can all puts your God given talents into more constructive work toward peace than destructive work for partition. Well you can do the destructive part without me Zan. If you need me to be with you, when you decide to be constructive, give me a call.

I have never seen a TC more critical of his own people than I have with you Kikapu. We have a chance to break out of a strangle hold and you show more hate than the GCs do. Why is that. Have you no ;ove of who you are at all. You have ALMOST as much self loathing as Bir.

I know about 30 TC people. Between them there are 5 with whom Kikapu and Birkibrisli would dare say "are nothing" compared with.

Ask to see someone called Suleyman from Kionelli Zan...

Heres a question.....What are you doing to get us what we deserve in the RoC then....................As you accuse me of doing the opposite?

All the people you mention that share your dream live abroad, did you realize this? do you think its fair to decide for us the people who live on the island? and why?

Kikapu is only 1% TC by birth, he has been away from Cyprus for all of his adult life, his posts reveal how distant he is from TCs, as I have also pointed out he has nothing positive ever to say about the TRNC or TCs and our position in all this, I also asked him once to say 1 thing that he supports about our ideas which goes against GC demands. He came up with nothing.....Ill let you all decide the rest.

mrfromng,

What you say is partially true. I do not need to do 2 years in any case. At worse is 3 months or £4,000UK pounds. Over 49 years old. In all honesty, I do not feel I'm obliged to do it, to pay a state, the "TRNC" who is trying to break up my country. It will be an endorsement at worse. What the hell they need me in the NS anyway.? They got 40,000 troops there, or is it, they are only after the money. ??

It is not about me though. It is about having a workable settlement in Cyprus where we can all come and go as we all please. I know what is like to be forced to move, so I do not want to benefit on the loss of others, and as long as the Turkish Army is there, I do not see a settlement at all.
