I have never seen a TC more critical of his own people than I have with you Kikapu. We have a chance to break out of a strangle hold and you show more hate than the GCs do. Why is that. Have you no ;ove of who you are at all. You have ALMOST as much self loathing as Bir.

I think the advert will help the ROC as much as the north especially as the word Cyprus is more legible than "north". People going into travel agents as a result of the ad will see more brochures for ROC holidays than for the north, I think you may have shot yourself in the foot!

Sorry to have hit a nerve Kikapu but I have not heard you say one good thing about Turks or TCs. What is it that you hate so much. Have these people not suffered enough to deserve at least a little love from you. They did not choose to be where they are today and neither did the GCs but here we are and you seem to hate only one side for this predicament. I just don't understand that’s all.

Thank you for coming to intervene in 74', and while you're here, stay around for a while, oh 50 years sounds about right, and in the meantime, we can't get life back to normal in Cyprus, because Turkey is calling all the shots, on behalf of the TC's. Why don't you guys be more proactive towards peace, as you're about partition, and wanting everything to be divided. One of you said today, that "we are Turkish and not Cypriots". Talk about betraying your own motherland, and attaching yourself to Turkey, because that's what it means, when one says they are Turkish, when you leave the Cypriot part out.

Zan , are you not missing the entire point here about Kikapu and Bir , the fact that these two individuals do not wish to give their country up any more than I do , where do you see hatred Zan , is it the fact that neither of those two , just as I do , do not have any hatred for their fellow Cypriots . We have a chance you say to break out of a stranglehold , the self imposed one by Turkey no doubt . Can you not see that the overwhelming majority of Cypriots will never in a million years give up their country , just as Kikapu and Bir feel. How do you think the future generations of Cypriots feel when part of their country is annexed by Turkey , do you want to see more and more conflicts erupting , because they will have no doubt about that , Bir , Kikapu , Humanist my self and many more do see beyond our noses and do fear that conflict will erupt again and again and no power on earth will be able to put and end to it unless we , yourself included and all other Cypriots join forces and avert such possible conflicts. The way is not to move further apart but to move closer and demand your rights to the whole of Cyprus as equal citizens with your fellow Cypriots. As you can see there are many many Cypriots that share my views that you not so long ago , along with VPs dismissed as an old man's dream.
Long live our Cyprus lets preserve it for all of our future generations to come as an independent nation .

I see all those that live in Turkey as Turks just as I see my self as a Brit and I presume you see yourself as a Yank but why are you talking to me as if I am from Turkey alone. I am a Turkish Cypriot and whatever box you seem top think you are thinking out of (and I believe you are out of your box) perhaps an answer from you without further questions would be nice.


As far as the Turks coming to Cyprus and warrant a thank you from you, how about thank you for saving my peoples lives. Yes they have done many wrongs as well but so have the Greeks so what is so terrible that makes you hate one more than the other. I have always approached this as being what it is and that history dictates we move on with equal respect. You seem content with giving away all our rights to a people that have shown us very little love from a political sense. The days of planting olive trees and harvesting figs are over. We are in the 21st century and our needs and abilities have changed.
