How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

NB: Although the question aims Turkish Cypriots, as a topic it is open to all so feel free to participate regardless of ethnic background.

Aren't we all Cypriots then??????

We are only all Cypriots when is suits them and they can score political booty from claiming they represent the whole island, pathetic really.

Where did I say you're not Cypriots people? It seems more a case of avoiding a difficult question!

It goes without saying that the question infers as such GR. It is not what you said but a case of what you did not say. The question is as vague as is the interpretation of whether the RoC sees us as Cypriots or not. IT says one thing and does another. The answer is equally vague, as in we feel confused because of the way the RoC treats us. You ask but you already know or expect the answer as you see it. The games that are being played do not give us the privilege of being able to answer without sticking a BUT in somewhere.

We have never been considered to be Cypriots or equal to the GCs. I remember as a kid. Every time we traveled in and out of Cyprus whether by road, sea or air, everybodies passport would be checked and handed back to them, our passports were always thrown back at us, like you would throw a bone to a dog. My dad always used to be so offended and used to curse them and say "one day you sons of whores, one day" and how right he was. That day soon came and thank god he lived to see it.

Forget all this we are all Cypriot dream. The GCs think of us as the Israeli's think of the Palestinians. In their eyes we are less human than them.

All those that cannot remember seem to think we all got along like the "Little house on the Prairie".

Then perhaps Zan , VP, and Mrfromng, will accept this dedication of "Somewhere"...

There's a place for us,
Somewhere a place for us.
Peace and quiet and open air
Waits for us, Somewhere

There's a time for us,
Some day there’ll be a time for us,
Time together with time to spare,
Time to learn, time to share,

Some day! Somewhere!
We'll find a new way of living,
We'll find there’s a joy in forgiving
Somewhere . . .

There's a place for us. A time and place for us.
Hold my hand and we're halfway there.
Hold my hand and I'll take you there.
Somehow, Someday, Somewhere!

Somewhere! Somewhere!
We'll find a new way of living,
We'll find there’s a way of forgiving
Somewhere

Yeah, RoC should not have been vague on you. Should have prosecuted all of you for supporting the crimes and illegalities against her. That would be preferwable to you wouldn't it?

I was with the impression that you travelled only once out of Cyprus, by the time you emmigrated no?

Or are you referring to the times you were travelling out of your own castle-ghetto-enclaves?
