I bought a wine in Orphaindes and in the wine bottle it was glass pieces .
Before i complain to the manager i bought all the bottles in the supermarket . When i complain they told me thats not possible then we open together one bottle which i already i bought and glass picess was in that bottle as well. Still i have unopened bottles and i m sure yjey have glass pieces in it as well. I been in hospital as well and i have record of it . Do you know if i can sue the company for compensation and any solicitor you might advice i will be greathfull . Thanks

Gav, sue the Wine company.

They will ask you to return the bottles to them. Don't do that.

If you sue them, they will try to blame the supermarket for damaging the bottles.

So think in advance.

Go to other shops, which are not related to the first supermarket. If they sell the same brand, store the receipes and pay a laboratory to examine all bottles. If different bottles of the same brand, from different shops have the same content (glass) it is not a fault of the shops, and you can sue the company with success.

If you confront them with your findings before they can make the other shops return the bottles to them (their first priority) you have a chance they'll offer you "some amount" to "shut up".
