How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Should Turkish Speaking Cypriots Vote with their Feet ......

Postby humanist » Sat Mar 17, 2007 2:51 am

in light of all the coments on this forum that turkish speaking cypriots are becoming a minority in their own country, that Talats administration is not acting on their best interest, that the trnc is at the whimps of Turkey, should Turkish Speaking Cypriots move to the south and enjoy the benefits of all other RoC citizens?

In all honesty when all the dust of dispute has settled we find that all people have exactly the same needs such as Jobs, Housing, Education, Healthcare, Social Security, etc, or if you like the need for a decent standard of living. Everything else comes secondary.

yes we do have the same needs as you have mentioned, however the question is about quality and availability. If the needs of turkish cypriots are met in the north then the answer to my question remains no. However if this is not an attainable goal then the leadership has not done a good enough job in meeting the needs of their citizens.
