free .... the whole world is a joke not only cyprus ..... I laugh @ the EU considering membership with Turkey that illegally occupies i/3 of Cyprus violates the rights of at least 200,000 refugees, a few milion kurds and not to mention the Armenians....... so what the bigger joke, a bunch of elite politicians trying to enlarge Europe. Turkey's entry talks must never conitnue so long as she violating human rights and sovereighnty of another country.

have you ever considered that the EU dont give a shit about you guys and that Turkey in the long run is more valuable to them. You have been complaining for 33 years and no has done anything to help you get back 33% of the island do you every ask yourself why?

I think a bigger picture is needed here Humanist. Even the Great UK has land diputes. I don't care to research on the others but I think you will find that most have and will have for a long time to come.

AND... On that basis Cyprus should not have been allowed in as was promised by the EU.

VP I have often discussed the issue that EU don't give a hit about Cyprus many a times. So ther you go we do agree on something.

Zan, I am tired now and I am not going to talk about it. Sorry mate... in my view two wrongs don't make a right and at the end of the day i don't agree with the turkish occupation of cyprus, the ousting of 200,000 refugees, or the economic embargo faced by turkish speaking cypriots, nor the fact that turksih speaking cypriots are fast becoming a minority in their own homeland (cyprus) from there far be it for me to solve the cypro. whatever will be will be
