Hi I'm new to the forum.
We are going to Tala for two weeks in August - I know its going to be hot hot hot. We are renting a villa with a private pool and aircon, so that won't be so bad.
Can anyone tell me - what's it like in Tala. Are there any restaurants/bars. Is it hilly. Is there anything worth a visit in the area?
So many questions!!!!!!!

| Tala is on a hill about 5 minutes from the beach. There are restaurants and bars there but since you will be staying for 2 weeks it would be better if you rent a car and explore Cyprus or at least Paphos District. Tala is just a village so there will not be many things to do there unless you want to just relax and do nothing much. |

I think it's fair to say that every street in Tala either goes up, or down and not much is level.
There are restaurants and tavernas in the square plus a little supermarket.
A charming village but it gets a bit crowded and trying to park in the square to shop or to eat is sometimes impossible.
Enjoy your holiday, put the sun cream on several times a day and chill out. |
