The time has come to leave Cyprus for good and repatriate to the good ol' US of A! Cyprus has become to expensive to live in. Although my wife and I make an exceptional wage in Cyprus...we are living only to pay our bills.

Electricity rates have skyrocketed...petrol prices the same...housing (fo getabout it), food prices I could go on and on. What was once a pristine, cheap, beautiful place has been ruined by over development and the lack of foresight by it's people and politicians.

America may have it's problems...but at least in the USA I can purchase a 300 sq meter home with pool for 150K, get a decent job and have water 24/7.

Good Bye Cyprus...

What's good about USA??

Have you been Psycho ? I must admit I was tempted a few years ago, I spent 6 months in Boston. Worked bloody hard but the rewards were great and people were genrally very friendly. The big plus for me was the the shooting, and the knowledge Americans have for all firearms.

Been to America, did the fly drive thing and covered the west coast. Liked some of the places visited but some of the people we met were load mouthed and arrogant just like Bush.

Haven't been to the States for thirty odd years, but who would want to?

90% of Americans have not travelled more than 50 miles from where they were born (fact), so what would they know about anything?
