15 July 1974. Stupid representatives of Greek Junta executed a "grazy" and out of any logic, military coup , against the official ROC's government.
Trators or stupids? Personally, despite numerous books and personal experience, i can not yet have an accuarate opinion.
Despite it was a clear betray or stupidness result was the same.
AKEL , 1960-1974 (Before the coup): Workers are entitled to 8hrs work, bread to workers, insurance to pure people. Many people followed above correct theories. When several thousands of G/cs convisted that AKEL was supporting their rights , became members of the political party, then the real policy of AKEL appeared: YOU ARE CYPRIOTS YOU ARE NOT GREEKS.!!! (Policy of Kypriaki synidisi). Reason? AKEL was surviving because of funds caming from USSR.Having Cyprus be united with Greece, then Cyprus would be a member of NATO!!!!USSR of course did not like this scenario. They did not like to support financially a political party which was guiding the people to support their country of being member of NATO. Then the Cypriots appeared (today's neo cypriots).
This has no question, it was NOT a stupidness- it was a clear betray against the Greeks of Cyprus.
The funny thing is that all the Communist parties are not accepting any commend against their previous policies. All of them are always acting for the benefit of people.
There is a change- people have been educated now. they can understand and commend against all. |

The nucleus that is at the core of the problem is NATO.
Now we are in the EU, Greece should go the full way and do what the French did ... leave!
Then the EU can foster better relations with its neighbour Russia instead of being used as a military station for the US. |

Maybe you should do so. Do not forget Cypriots (G/cs) are the most clever politicians, workers, businessmen, human in the Earth. someone must critice them. Maybe ,by this way, they can put their feet on Earth again |

| Oracle is in love with Greece. In fact she loves Greece so much that she wants the best for her. She wants Greece to leave NATO (or perhaps leave from the military part) and join ranks with Russia. Such a clecer move that will cure all ailments and the stupid Greek politicians have not discovered it yet. Tell them Oracle, tell them how to destroy themselves. |

I didn't say to join ranks with Russia ad libber! .... But NATO serves the US, so we need an EU based organisation .... which does not instamatically pigeon-hole Russia as the enemy. |

| You said that Greece should do a France and leave NATO. When did France leave NATO? You also said that if Greece were to leave NATO, the EU would foster better relations with Russia. Have you asked the Lithuanians, the Estonians, the Latvians and the rest of the Eastern Europeans who have first hand experience of these "better relationship"? |
