By rights, 'kelledjis' should mean a 'head' seller (Butcher ofcourse). I cannot see it as meaning a stubborn man, but accept that borrowed words can have their meanings altered. Perhaps butchers are deemed to be clever.  |

Tim wished to know the usage of the Turkish word 'kelle'. Kelle = kefali = head/skull.
I gave him a few options. Kifeas also had a few gems. |

I understood your post D, it was Lena's that was causing me the problem and I was hoping that some kind person would translate as I can only glean a little of it. Must practice my Greek  |
