| A theory known as self-categorization theory proposes that if a social group (APOEL) is given a label that distinguishes it from another social group (OMONOIA), then the human mind will try to give the label a justification for existing by creating a stereotype for it. |

| Thanks, you too. Have you ever asked yourself "why" people dwell on football so much? |

Easy to say "screw the champions league now"
The way things are going for Anorthosis in CL now, they will be financially so strong that they will screw the lot of you in the league.
If i remember correctly each team has receives 3.000.000 euros for reaching the Group Phase plus another 2.400.000 million euros for playing the whole six games of this stage.
There is also Performance Bonus which is about 3.000.000 for wins and 1500000 for draws...
In the worst case they will receive around 10.000.000 from UEFA az prize money..
So,if i were you i would start worrying now... |

start worrying??? I've already been through it and have accepted it. They will have a minimum budget of 12m next year and from now will plan each year on the Champions League.
We will continue with our 4.5m budget and hope to pick up a couple of leftover trophies on the way while praying for our big break in the UEFA groups next year (Europa League upgraded both profile and money)
Omonoia will be strong as long as Katsourides in AKEL keeps channeling funds there which means the next 5 years minimum. |

DT, as much as I like you as a fellow poster and friend, and having studied the 4 major teams in the Cypriot league, I really dont see you winning anything this year
it's not just Iceman's good points about Anorthosis, but Omonoia too which have a stronger team than yours. |

A derby is a derby and regardless of its outcome it won't reflect on the overall team standings this time next year. |
