Well, that was one superb evening/night/morning!. Got into to the show for free (well, I wasn't going to pay for it was I. I've seen it 2000 times from the back!). Gerry was alright but the Pacemakers (also known as 'Soul Journey) were excellent: check' em out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0YDgwW1palE
Sat with them all (except Gerry of course, it was way passed his bedtime) afterwards and didn't stop laughing, joking, reminiscing and drinking until I fell into bed around 05:00. Fabulous!.
No 'professor Bubbles' I wasn't with them in there heyday, only from 1997-2001, but we sure got around a bit. Unfortunately I didn't make pots of money, but a very comfortable living. I'm still a struggling musician.
Anyhoo, the show went down very well, so they're sure to be back, can't wait!.
Gareth Gates eh?...with or without the sweater? . I'm going now, my head hurts.
Col.
