I watched the first ever night race live from Singapore on Sunday, along with my buddy Hambos, who's also an F1 nut.
Our reaction was that it was a very spectacular event, well staged by the Singapore authorities, and an exciting race all round. What was your verdict on the race/facilities/etc, and would you support more night-time races?
I would really enjoy Monaco under lights! |

I thought lighting up the track was an unnecessary & expensive process...
The same track would be just as good if not better in daylight...
What's the point of doing it in the evening (under floodlights) with cars designed for daylight use? |

Iceman, it has all to do with the televising hours and the viewing public. I think it must be so difficult for the drivers with night lighting. |

Earning a million euros a race, I'm sure they'll survive. |

| I missed the actual race but am losing interest since I actually went to see them at Silverstone. £150 a ticket to fight people in what looked like a cattle pen, just to get a small patch of ground to put my chair.....They don't even provide seats. Then to get ripped off with something they pass as food and then to see the cars for few seconds as they speed past. |

I think it would be far more exciting if they turned the lights off every now and again without warning just like they turn the water off in Cyprus. It might add some excitement to a dull and boring sport |
