PIK and guns of the Navarrone

Ok I have been to cyprus since iw as very small. I am 16 now, I must have been about 60 times. Every time i go though pik shows guns of the navarone, EVERY TIME! can someone explain this?

you visit cyprus approximately the same time every year,which most propably coincides with some of the celebrations for ww2.......
