luton town looked like a beer bellied sunday legue team. shame on them! cetinkaya were all fit young men, not a beer bellie in sight. work it out for yourself, it wasn't rocket science.
when luton town left the pitch they didn't shake hands with the other players, which was pretty rude in my book. no manners. to be honest if they weren't such a load of w-----s they would have played on regardless to what fifa and the roc had to say.
maybe you need to come north and watch some decent football! or maybe the cyprus national team would be overtaken with turkish cypriot players! is that what is truthfully worrying you?

Deep in their hearts YES!!!!!! Has the so called "RoC" ever promoted the TCs in any arena......Watch their tourism adverts. Greek Greek Greek Greek Greek!!!!!!!

Well Zan, when the entire island is covered with Ancient Greek ruins we can't all just change the name of the village to something turkish, throw down a few greek columns and setup a few minarets and then call the whole thing Ottoman....can we?

We apologise that this island belonged to the Greek world and was inhabited by Greeks for thousands of years. We'll try to hide it better next time.

No need to appologise DT...But when you next make a Cyprus tourism film or book...Perhaps you can include the vast Ottoman buildings and the Venetian ones or all the other buildings and influences on the island as you do the Greek ones..... Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

Will try to Zan...just wish you could have left one or two Byzantine churches alone without having converted them to stables, mosques, govt offices or brothels.

Actually there were a couple of TC that played in the league for Nea Salamina FC some years ago. Unfortunately these players were forced to stop playing for the club after they and their families received threats from Turkish ultra nationalist circles. The same happened with another TC player that signed for AEK Larnaca FC at the same time but was forced to withdraw from playing after threats received from the same circles.

Any TC player which can prove himself is more than welcome to play in the Cypriot League and the National Team. I would have loved to see that TC youngster, can't remember his name, that played for the Turkish national team in the recent EURO, playing for Cyprus.
