Thankyou for your support, is there a Cyrus Referees Association? Is football played at a grass roots level or is it just professional only?
And for all the non-believers, I have been refereeing in UK for over 7 years, mainly mens Sunday football, you know the sort of stuff, lets all vomit before we play, because of the boozing at the local the night before. I am assessed by the FA at least three times a year, if you go out to do your best, players know and 95% will respect you for what you are doing. There are always a minority who want to insult you, but that's why you have cards, essentially it is about maintaining control. There is nothing wrong with being a female referee, I passed an exam to become one how many footballers pass an exam to play?

| Good luck Jo. There is nothing better than seeing somebody that has belief in their own ability and self. Hope you succeed as a ref in Cyprus. |

Thanks Hazza! As you are in Cyprus, do you know if there is a referee's association?
