| ...troubles, complaints between two communities started earlier than 63 in Lapitos . |
Greek Cypriot complains started from 1570 when your forefathers set foot here uninvited.
You still haven’t told us WHO gave you permission to come here… |
Why are you asking us? we werent around then and no choice in the matter. |
Well then quit moaning about 63 or any other year from the past for that matter. Just as you don’t feel responsible for anything that was done to the indigenous Cypriots all these centuries why should they give a rat’s arse about a bunch of criminals who came here uninvited to kill and steal, and who are apparently STILL causing trouble in their homeland? |
The problem for us is not the past Ottomans but the current GCs who have shown they are still racist vegence seeking people who stop at nothing to eradicate the island of its TC population, thats why sageguards are paramount to ensure the mistakes of the past are not repeated. |
The problem for us is both the past AND the present Ottomans who are the constant nuisance of our homeland. Your REAL home is just a minor boat trip away… TAKE IT!
The mistake from the past is YOUR PEOPLE setting their foot on this Cypriot land in the first place and playing games thereafter for some 400 years. Get out!
As for your "safeguards", go to Turkey where you’ll have them because here I piss on them big time. |
Dont hold your breath you ignorant pig. No on second thoughts feel free to hold your breath as long as you want. |

Another of the historic villages of Kyrenia now occupied by Turks..
KALOGREA, KYRENIA DISTRICT, CYPRUS
Kalogrea village, Cyprus. Occupied by Turkish troops since 1974.
The village was built up after a "Kalogrea" (woman monk) found refuge (from prosecution by the Turks) inside a cave at the location of the village.
Near Kalogrea village is located the famous Christian Greek Orthodox monastery of Antiphonitis (Antifonitis). The monastery of Antifonitis was one of the most beautifully decorated monasteries, with ancient Byzantine frescoes. It was too destroyed and looted by barbarian Turks.
- ANTIFONITIS CHURCH & MONASTERY-
Antiphonitis Greek Orthodox monastery near Kalogrea village, Cyprus. Destroyed by Turkish antiquity smugglers. 12th and 15th century Greek frescoes were removed and sold in the black market in England, Holland, and Germany.
Primary suspect: Turkish antiquity smuggler Aydin Dikmen. A lot of pieces of frescoes were found on his possession in Germany and are now under the Munich Police custody.
12th Century Frescoes (of Judgement) before Turkish Occupation
Frescoes destroyed by Turks after being extracted to sell in the black market.

Sorry Humanist. I have condemned many times the utter destruction of these places of worship. I deplore all kinds of vandalism. The idiotic greedy bastards ought to rot in hell. There is no justification for destroying ones island heritage. Shame on all who condone these acts of barbarism.
Ialso condemn those on the otherside who also have destroyed Turkish places of worship. So far no one has accepted that these actions have taken place (vandalism of mosques). |

Yes, I would also condemn all these acts of vandalism, in part fuelled by racist hatred, in part driven by greed, wherever they occur.
I do not know whether there is a corresponding link with mosques but the sad thing is that some of these very ordinary village churches like the one in Kalogrea were home to exquisite examples of the art of the icon. These were world class mosaics and paintings. CY really lossed something special when these were stolen and spirited overseas or vandalised by the iconoclasts. |

Funny word 'iconoclasts' . First used for describing the europeans (probably other christians) who disapproved of icons..
Ofcourse the Greek/ Byzantine icons were more valuable so did attract the worse kind of treatment. |
