You may have heard the Eurovisions songs so far and It would be interesting to hear some coments ! My Top favouroites songs after hearing them many times are :
Hungury( Love the dancing , Very nice music and presentation) I believe this has all attributes to win the contest It is my TOP favourite - This gets my 12 points with not a second thought!
Iceland ( A powerful rythmic well presented song with nice music - excellent video. This comes my second favourite and it deserves a place among the Top 5 - Anything lower would be a big injustice - 10 points from me for Iceland.
Serbia Montenegro ( Very nice instrumental music with great melody and presentation ) - 8 points
Switserland ( A great come back from switserland with a great song. Best ever entry for switserland for years)
Croatia ( A strong ,touchy voice , very nice presentation I like this song a lot)
Albania ( I think the melody of this song won my attention but not bad song at all)
Regarding Cyprus this depends on performance It can do well but can also do bad! Hmmmm Im uncertain about this!
Greece is not bad at all .THis is also one of the favourites this year but not my style!
Turkey : I prefer Turkey to had sung in English like last year with Athena . This is an average song but has a good melody though! Sertab and Athena (Bring you up) were much better I think !
This is a good year with many good songs! |

I heard this song its a good song but not one of my favourites! It has a nice music and a unique style on stage but I have not ranked it in my TOP 5 above . As I said this year many countries have good entries and this maybe the reason. It is neither in my Bottom 5 list which are : Bulgaria , Fyrom , Moldova , Portugal .
I heard some people who have ranked it in Top 5 list but this is a matter of individual taste anyway! I can say it has a good potential but not fo the Top positions! |

its this time of the tear again, eurovision time!!!being a member of several esc sites (not by choice) i have already made up my mind. iwill coment about the songs u mentioned:
1)hungary=its an ok song, nothing special.i watched several of the interviews nox gave and i didnt like their attitude, besides their song is stealing elements from riverdance. i also dont like their confidence that they are sure they will do well.and i dont like hungary,i used to live in hungary and i still do ,and i simply dislike them as people(i am not a racist but according to my personal experiances i cant help it).0 points from me for hungary
2)iceland=nice song,one of the favourites
3)cyprus=its ok,we could have done better than this,hi5 were a much better option,i predict a place around 10-13
4)greece=nice song, but everything will depend on the way they will present it on stage.place 1-4
5)malta-nederlands=nice ballads ,but this year the winner will be an uptempo song so i will not waste my votes for them(shame because glennis is a very beautiful woman)
6)norway=i like it a lot,it will do well
7)sweden=as if the europeans will vote for a song that is about las vegas!!!how naive!!but ,there is a big but.......the guy is handsome and will get many votes from gays and young girls(like sakis last year) so i cant predict the final position for this song
8)switzerland,germany=nice songs, dont know the effect of the recent scandal with the manipulation of the sales of their songs will have for them.i will wait a few more days before i make up my mind for these 2
9)serbia and montenegro=among my favourites, but it wont do well because they are from montenegro and they boycott them from the radio and tv stations
10)uk=it could be the surprise of the night.if javine has another"wardrobe malfunction"(show her tits) it could send her to first place. i watced a few of her interviews and she is very sweet
11)turkey=unfortunately not as good as the previous 2 years.place 12-14.(if athena was taking part this year with last years song they could have been the winners)
12)rest of the songs=nothing special except maybe from israel,if eurovision goes political this year israel will get a good place bc of the peace deal with the palestinians |

Regarding the UK entries the Best entry was "Where are you now?" If I find it in a CD single I will definitely buy it.
Overall it came 3rd but It faced a tough competition from the Israeli entry Dana International who received too much publicity from the media of being transexual!
sk we are almost in line apart from Hungury. You seem quite prejudiced with the country lol ! I valued the dancing skills of the group and the guys seemed professional on what they have been doing on stage! We will see |

| I listened Turkey's song and it's horrible. There's nothing special about it. It's not even good in Turkey's standards let alone European standards. I don't know what they were thinking when they selected the song. |

I saw some polls and I was amazed that our song ranks so high. I guess this is because Cypriots are the only ones who still care about this things and they go vote to these polls.
Personally I believe that kostantinos (the singer for Cyprus) is 90% public relations and 10% voice. I didn't like the song. It sounds way too cheap.
The song from Greece is OK, but I think Greece will get most of their points because of the singer and the heavy promotion that they are doing. |
